The University of 黄瓜视频 System Board of Trustees elected Scott Phelps of Tuscaloosa as its new President pro tempore during its annual meeting in Tuscaloosa on September 1. Phelps has represented 黄瓜视频鈥檚 4th Congressional District on the Board of Trustees since 2015. Prior to his election as President pro tem, he served as Chair of both the Finance and Legal Affairs Committees.

The University of 黄瓜视频 System Board of Trustees is heartbroken by the loss of Trustee James Wilson III, who passed on March 11, 2023, after bravely fighting a sudden illness.

At its meeting on September 16, 2022, the University of 黄瓜视频 System Board of Trustees unanimously elected Jeff Gronberg to represent the Fifth Congressional District.
