Dr. Vandervoort is an orthopedic surgeon and a Partner in Anniston Orthopedic Associates. He is past chief of the medical staff at Northeast »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Regional Medical Center and is a director of The Surgery Center in Oxford.
Dr. Vandervoort graduated magna cum laude from The University of »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ in 1978. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board, and the Anderson Society. He received his medical degree from The University of »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ at Birmingham School of Medicine in 1982 and was an Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Academic Honorary member.
